Parineeta is one the best Hindi movies of 2005, and probably one the best of all Hindi movies. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan and Sanjay Dutt, Parineeta has an excellent and original story, as well as its great music. I always enjoy listening to the melodious songs of Parineeta. Directed by Nikkil Advani and starring Saif Ali Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta, Kal Ho Naa Ho is/was one of the best movies of 2003 (can't believe it's already been 3 years since it's release), and one of my favorite. I specially like Saif's performance in this movie; compare it with his performance in Dil Chahta Hai and you will see how much he has grown as an actor, and I'm sure as a person as well.

Tere Naam is a film directed by Satish Kaushik and stars Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla in the lead roles. As the tagline of the film says, it is based on a true love story which hell of a love story. It has a pretty depressing ending, unlike most other love stories. In this film, we get to see Salman Khan with both long hair (a wig :p) and bald.
Suprisingly, Himesh Reshammiya is the music director of Tere Naam. Lucky for us that he wasn't singing a lot (or at all) at the time or else it wouldn't be such a good album.
AR Rahman has performed his magic again. His superb music is the only good thing in Saathiya (beside the cute Rani Mukherjee, of course). When I say good, I mean REALLY GOOD! Devdas is a remake of a classic hindi movie, it is also a masterpiece on its own. Whenever there is a remake, there definitely will be comparisons of the two versions. In case of Devdas, some people think the older version is better. But I think otherwise. I think Shahrukh khan, as well as Madhuri and Aishwarya have given their best performances ever. The movie is great from every angle you look at it; the music, acting, direction and every other thing is great. That is something you can't deny. It is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and its music is by Ismail Darbar who has done an excellent job.
I love everything about Dil Chahta Hai! The music, the cast, the story, script, and everything else in this movie (except a couple maybe). I have watched this movie more than 10 times since it was first released, and everytime I watch it, it feels like it's the first I'm watching it.
Dil Chahta Hai's casts include Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, and the pretty Preity Zinta. I think Aamir and Saif play the most interesting characters of the movie. They are funny, they are bold and most importantly their characters seem so real. I think this movie has something for everyone. You gotta watch this, if you havn't yet. It is directed by Farhan Akhtar, and the music is given by the one and only AR Rahman Shankar Ehsaan Loy (thanks to Anon for correcting me). The songs are great, but you would enjoy them much more if you were listening to them while watching the movie, or at least knowing in what context the songs are sung in the movie. One 2 Ka 4's music is directed by Bollywood's best and my favorite A.R. Rehman. Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Jackie Schroff play the lead roles. I hadn't listened to these songs for quite a long time, except for Khamoshiyan which I've listened to hundreds of times. That's why it wasn't as enjoyable as the rest of the songs.
Tum Bin stars Priyanshu Chatterjee, Sandali Sinha, Himanshu Malik and Rakesh Bapat. Priyanshu, Sandali and Rakesh, all started their filmi career with Tum Bin. The director of the film is Anubhav Sinha
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is a film written, produced and directed by Karan Johar and stars Shahrukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. I feel like I don't need to say what KKKG (a.k.a K3G) is about or what sort of film it is. It is one of the most popular Hindi films, so popular that I think it is safe to say anyone who is familiar with Bollywood also knows about K3G. It's a great film, with lots of elaborate sets and some very memorable songs, which by the way are composed by Jatin Lalit.
Dil Se is one movie we will all remember for different reasons. We may remember this film for its excellent music by A.R. Rehman that won him another Best Music Director's Award at the FilmFare Awards, for its beautifully choreographed songs by Farah Khan, for the amazing cinematography by Santosh Sivan, for Preity Zinta's first appearance, and lastly for its incredibilly bad results at the box office. Despite the bad box-office results, Dil Se won 5 FilmFare Awards. Manisha Koirala's performance in the movie is also to be praised. She has done a great job and was nominated for Best Actress' Award. Dile Se's famous song 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' recently appeared in the hollywood movie Inside Man directed by Spike Lee. Dil Se is one my favorite SRK films and I love every song of it. I hope you like them too.
Also requested multiple times by our visitors are the songs of this film, Pardes. It stars Shahrukh Khan, Mahima Chaudhary, Apoorva Agnihotri, Alok Nath and Amrish Puri and is directed by Subhash Ghai. This film is one of my favorite, mainly because of it's songs. Pardes is Mahima Chaudhary's debut film, whose real name is Ritu Chaudhary. Ghai made her change it to something starting with M as he thinks it is lucky for him. He had previously launched Madhuri Dixit and Manisha Koirala, and hence the 'M superstition'.
One stunning fact about Mahima is that she was chosen from 3000 people who auditioned for her role in Pardes. And she did a fantastic job, I don't think anyone could have done it better. She won the Bestcomer's award that year for this role.
As I said before, I like this film mainly because of its great music which is directed by Nadeem Sharavan. Here is your chance to them songs as well. Thanks to those who requested this album.
Virasat is a film I have watched quite a while back and is one of my favorite movies. Starring Anil Kapoor, Tabu, Pooja Batra and Amrish Puri, it's directed by Priyadarsan. I don't think I will judge it any differently if I watch it again now, even though my view of Hindi movies has changed a lot since then. Great story, wonderful cast and even better music. I think you will love this film whether you are a fan of Anil or Tabu.
Dil To Pagal Hai is one of the best movies of the 90s. It's directed by Yash Chopra and stars Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Karishma Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and Farida Jalal. I'm pretty sure that you've already watched this film, specially if you are a Shahrukh fan. If you haven't, I'm not really sure what to say to you. Really nice movie. I specially like the music of Dil To Pagal Hai, which is composed by Uttam Singh. Some of the best songs of Lata and Udit Narayan are from DTPH. I hadn't listened to them for years, so I'm really enjoying myself right now. I'm sure you will love them too. Enjoy!!

Maachis is directed by Gulzar and stars Chandrachur Singh, Tabu and Jimmy Shergill (according to SmasHits.com, tell me if it's wrong). Since I'd never heard of this movie, I haven't watched it either. Music is by Vishal Bharadwaj, and you be the judge for its quality.
Sabse Bada Khiladi stars Akshay Kumar (as I guess, hehe), Mamta Kalkarni, Mohnish Behl and, of course, the Bollywood 'bad man' Gulshan Grover. Interestingly the music of SBK is directed by Rajesh Roshan which by 1995 standards is pretty good. I didn't know he had such a long history of music directioin.
Saajan is a film starring young Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan in the lead roles. From what I've read about it online, Saajan was a super hit. It is directed by Lawrence D'Souza.
The music directors of Saajan are Nadeem Sharavan (Nadeem Saifi and Sharavan Rathod). If you are into the 90's movies then this album should be a treat for your. Enjoy!
